Mountain High is an all-mountain terrain park, terrain features may exist on all open trails. Mountain High Resort suggests that you consider wearing a helmet. In some situations it may prevent or reduce injury. However, helmets can give you a false sense of security so you should always use your best judgment and ride/ski within your ability.
Freestyle Terrain may contain jumps, hits, ramps, banks, fun boxes, jibs, rails, half pipes, quarter pipes, bump terrain and other constructed or natural terrain features. PRIOR to using Freestyle Terrain, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with Freestyle Terrain and obeying all instructions, warnings and signs. Freestyle skills require maintaining control on the ground, and in the air. Freestyle terrain use, like skiing and snowboarding, exposes you to the risk of serious injury.
Winter resorts can be enjoyed in many ways. At Mountain High you may see people using skis, snowboards, snowskates, or other specialized equipment such as adaptive gear. Regardless of how you enjoy the slopes, always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Know your Responsibility Code and help educate other guests on the proper rules and etiquette of the mountain.
Skiers or snowboarders found skiing/boarding out of control and/or behaving recklessly will have their ticket confiscated.

No one likes to be cut off in the park and no one wants to see parks become extinct because of liability concerns. There are the main messages associated with Smart Style.
1. Make a plan
Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.
2. Look before you leap
Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.
3. Easy style it
Start small and work your way up. (Inverted aerials not recommended).
4. Respect gets respect
From the lift line through the park.

A = Approach Zone is the space for setting your speed and stance to use the feature.
T = Take-Off Zone is for making moves that start your trick.
M = Maneuver Zone is for controlling your body in the air and setting up for landing.
L = Landing Zone is the prepared slope between the knuckle and the run out beyond.
